HISTORY

The Studio Redenti law firm was set up in the second decade of the last century when Enrico Redenti, first with Arturo Carlo Jemolo then later with Tito Carnacini, Federico Masč Dari, Vittorio Fratta and Angiola Sbaiz, laid the foundations for a workshop of ideas in Bologna combining university teaching, a vast number of academic publications and active practice of the legal profession.

Immediately after the Second World War, the Studio, a meeting point for some of the 20th century's most distinguished jurists, moved definitively to its current premises in Via Guerrazzi, reinforcing the close ties with the university. Here Enrico Redenti and Antonio Cicu founded the Rivista Trimestrale di Diritto e Procedura Civile, with Tito Carnacini as editor.

The latter, like Enrico Redenti before him, was Rector of Bologna University.

Umberto Fratta, Flavia Masč Dari, Carlo Alberto Vancini and Lorenzo Turazza were all in turn trained in this school, in the same taberna instructa. Today they draw on this legacy and project it into the future with a dynamism and commitment that give added value to the constant cultural and technological updating. They are also characterised by the international openness which is essential in the social and business context of today. Without forgetting the authentic liberal spirit of the legal profession, its classic values and the central role played by the individual.
